No rule says a voodoo doll has to do harm, so this one took the opposite job and moved onto a pill organizer. Healing Voodoo is gothic in looks and playful at heart: every pin is already gone, only the marks remain, and every mark shows a spot to soothe, not to sting. The motto says it in the simplest hand possible, printed right on the lid: WHERE IT HURTS. HEAL. And one dose at a time is exactly how healing works.
The artwork lives on the lid: a naive silver doll on galaxy black, its skull patched with copper stitches, no pins anywhere, only their marks, small hollows in the material, each with a touch of gold at the bottom, from the gaze down to the toes, and a stitched mouth where the series' gold tooth would usually grin. Everything printed in the material itself. Like kintsugi, the Japanese art of golden repair: what hurt once now catches the light.
Printing details this fine calls for a high level of technical control, where slow means precise.
