How it started
Someone close, living with a chronic condition and a treatment that leaves no room for improvisation. The need was simple. Finding the right organizer was not: they were hard to come by, and when we did find one, it was up to us to adapt to the organizer, never the other way around.
So the studio started from a principle that has nothing to do with plastic parts.

One need at a time
No product roadmap. Each model exists because a real routine asked for it.
The first object was small on purpose: a keychain holder carrying the dose you cannot afford to be without, always in a pocket, always on the keys, for the days that do not go as planned. It proved that an object tied to medication could still be simple, discreet and good-looking, and that careful design removes friction from an ordinary day.
As the condition progressed, the question was no longer where the pills were, but exactly when each one had to be taken. That is where the hourly organizer comes from: made to order, with the compartments and the hours that match one prescription, and a translucent lid so the caregiver can see at a glance whether the dose has been taken, without opening anything and without having to ask again.
Routines are personal, so a single standard model was never going to fit. The range grew across daily, travel and weekly formats, each in 49 color combinations: seven lids, seven bases, and no imposed color. You compose the one you like to look at, not just the one that works, and the object becomes yours: a constraint turns into something familiar when you choose it yourself.
From that freedom came the Artsy collection: original motifs, drawn in the studio, on objects that carry meaning as much as pills. The point is to take something often lived as a constraint and give it a strong identity of its own, until the constraint becomes expression. Some people want their organizer to disappear. Others take it out in public on purpose.

Each Biinii Design organizer is designed and 3D-printed in Switzerland, in small runs, in our studio in Blonay between the Alps and the Lavaux vineyards. We draw it, we print it, we test it, we check it, we ship it. There is no factory in between: if a piece is not right, it does not leave the studio.
3D printing is what makes that possible: full control over design, iteration and production, at a human scale, with consistency and traceability on every piece. It also means we can make one organizer for one person, which is where most of our best ideas started.
Biinii Design is a proud member of SWISS LABEL, the Swiss association whose crossbow mark identifies products made in Switzerland. Membership requires that the essential part of the value is created here: for our organizers, design, printing, finishing and quality control all happen in Blonay.
What guides the studio
We design for the hand that opens it, several times a day, and not always a steady hand. And for the caregiver beside it: the partner, the daughter, the nurse who needs to know the dose was taken. Grip, closure and legibility come first. Everything else is styling.
Our organizers are not medical devices, and we never suggest they are. They organize pills, vitamins and medication, and simplify the way a treatment is taken, day after day. What the material is, who answers for it in the EU, what it does not do: all written down, on every product page and in our GPSR compliance and care guidelines.
Made in small batches in our Blonay studio; only the Hourly and the photo organizer are printed to order. Every piece is checked by the people who designed it. Slower to grow, and worth it: nothing leaves without being held first.

Biinii Design organizers are now used well beyond Switzerland, with hundreds of orders and a wall of five-star reviews, most of them written by people who never expected to enjoy owning a pill box.
We ship twice a week, directly from Switzerland, with taxes and customs handled on our side. The collection keeps growing, one real need at a time, and the studio is now taking that same approach to professional and institutional use: pharmacies, care teams, and companies that want organizers carrying their own branding.
